Monday, 17 August 2020, 15:09Arthur continues to make trouble in Barcelona. The midfielder, who is currently preparing to move to Juventus in the coming season, was involved in a minor car accident in the Peloprozie district near Girona this morning, after apparently driving while intoxicated.
The 24-year-old midfielder spent until late at night at a club in Barcelona (the Catalan media already incited against him reported that "he celebrated Bayern's 2: 8 win over Barcelona"), got into the car with double the amount of alcohol in his blood, collided with a rail but was not injured.
His Ferrari suffered damage when the headlights were damaged and warped but he himself came out unscathed. Barcelona has not yet received an official announcement in response to the incident, but it can be assumed that the club will disown it this time as well.

Arthur's issue of disciplinary offenses has lengthened over the past year. He was documented surfing while snowing while apparently injured - which sparked outrage among Barcelona leaders. In another case, he uploaded a video to his Instagram account in which he was seen riding an electric scooter, something he was forbidden to do while recovering from another injury.
The climax came last month, when he informed the team that he intends to stay in Brazil and not show up for the opening of the team's training ahead of the game against Napoli in the last eight of the Champions League. Arthur eventually returned to Barcelona, but he suffered the "highest fine in the club's history" and was banned from participating in the team's activities. The midfielder dared to arrive at the Camp Nou despite the tensions for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, but was expelled from the place by the Barcelona people on the grounds that he did not undergo a corona test as required.
