In a statement, Olympique de Marseille revealed that the three suspected cases of coronavirus detected on Sunday turned out to be positive. According to L'Equipe , a pillar of the team and a replacement would be concerned, the latter declared asymptomatic. The Marseille club immediately notified the Professional Football League. Now with 4 positive cases within the group, the match between Marseille and Saint-Etienne, scheduled for Friday evening, should be postponed according to RMC Sport, because the LFP stipulates that due to the health crisis, the matches can be postponed if a team has at least 4 positive cases in its workforce, which is the case with OM.
As a result of testing on Monday, no new cases of # COVID19 were revealed, but Sunday's 3 suspected cases have been confirmed.

Like the Olympique de Marseille, the Nîmes Olympique formalized this morning on its twitter account, the suspicion of two new cases of Covid in its professional workforce. The players concerned have reportedly been placed in solitary confinement pending further testing. The Crocos are supposed to receive Brest on Sunday at 3 p.m. as part of the first day of the championship, but if the two suspected cases turn out to be positive it is quite possible that the meeting will be postponed as in the match which should have opposed them to Dijon last week in friendly. There should therefore only be 6 matches this weekend for the resumption of L1.
