Barcelona have announced that their German international goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen will undergo surgery on his right knee today.
The Catalan club said in a statement on its official website (Twitter) that Marc Ter Stegen, 28, will undergo surgery on the patellar tendon in the right leg by Dr. Ramon Cogat without revealing how long Stegen will need to recover and return to the stadiums.
Ter Stegen has suffered throughout the past season from this injury in his right knee.
