    The reactions

"This is a historic night for our club," exclaimed President Nasser al-Khalafi. "I'm proud of this club for its first final. It's a dream, but we must not stop now."

Angel Di Maria, who starred with a goal and two touchdowns, said: "We are happy, it was a great game and we want to write the history of this club. If we continue like this, we can do it in the final. We made Leipzig weak. At the beginning of the game we knew it was 50- "But we also believed that with our great energy, we could win. I guess we will have a hard time falling asleep tonight. Whether we meet Lyon or Bayern, we will give everything we have. We are strong and one step away from the goal."

Assistant goalkeeper Sergio Rico who opened in the absence of Kaylor Navas added: "I am very happy with the opportunity I was given to play, I did not play much this season. There are no words to describe how it feels. I do not know if I will play in the final, we will see how Kaylor will feel."
