Lissbon (dpa) - Coach Julian Nagelsmann goes into the semi-finals of the Champions League in the evening against Paris Saint-Germain with almost the same starting formation as in the 2-1 win against Atlético Madrid.
In the defensive line, only Nordi Mukiele replaces the recently ailing national player Marcel Halstenberg. Since Mukiele will probably play on the right outside, Lukas Klostermann moves to the center of the defensive next to Dayot Upamecano. In the attack, Yussuf Poulsen is once again the central point ahead of ex-PSG professional Christopher Nkunku and Dani Olmo.
"I'm not hyper-nervous now," said Nagelsmann before the kick-off at Sky. He hadn't come up with anything special or entirely new. "In the end, the game must be won by the players." Mukiele was given preference because Nagelsmann expected PSG to be a little higher in the build-up. Against Atlético, Halstenberg's ability to build the game was more in demand.
At Paris, coach Thomas Tuchel can count on Kylian Mbappé again from the start. The world champion forms the attack line of the French soccer champions with Angel di Maria and Neymar. National player Thilo Kehrer is also in the starting line-up. Julian Draxler and the winning goal scorer from the quarter-finals against Atlanta Bergamo, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, are again only replacements.
The lineups:
RB Leipzig: Gulásci - Mukiele, Klostermann, Upamecano, Angelino - Laimer, Sabitzer, Kampl - Olmo, Nkunku - Poulsen
Paris Saint-Germain: Rico - Kehrer, Thiago Silva, Kimpembe, Bernat - Paredes, Marquinhos, Herrera - di Maria, Mbappé, Neymar
