The person concerned came back to Germany with friends from vacation in Croatia. They took the test at the border crossing on the motorway. That was on August 8th. Five days later, on August 13th, last Thursday, he heard the result: positive. From club circles it is said that the young man returned symptom-free, which in turn cannot be confirmed by the health department in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, but refers to data protection.

In any case, the person who was sick at the time trained once with his teammates. Then he received the e-mail, which every returnees opens with a sense of unease. ASV Eglfing canceled all other units as well as the test match against SV Uffing on Sunday. The Bavarian government has regulated this procedure in its sixth infection control measures ordinance.
The teammates in football are classified as Category I people with close contact with the infected person, as, among other things, tackles are trained. "We got a contact list from the person who tested positive, we have no other choice," says Hansjörg Wiesböck from the health department in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
