The SC Baldham-Vaterstetten started their preparations with some new purchases. After several newcomers, the SCBV roster is now complete for the restart.

Baldham - The footballless time is a thing of the past at SC Baldham-Vaterstetten. The new coaching team with Sebastian Kneißl and Stefan Bürgermeier brought their team through the first sweaty training units. They welcomed five newcomers.

Several young players are new to the SCBV

In close coordination with the two new coaches, the sports director Thomas Nock has completed the somewhat thinned-out squad of the district division again. In a screening training, in which ten interested players took part, young talents Noah Benofghoul (U19, Kirchheimer SC, 18 years) and Jamil Toure (Herakles SV Munich, 25 years) were able to convince. In the goalkeeping position, Yannik Poyda (FC Ismaning, 23 years old) and central defender Steven Hallmann (SV Heimstetten, 22 years old), two former Sebastian Kneißl players, followed their coach after Baldham. In addition, Moritz Willer (FC Unterföhring, 20 years old) was another young, talented player at short notice. With this, the SCBV is again stepping up its path to offer young players a chance to prove themselves at the district league level.

Almost all of the team was there at the start of training. Not only the new trainers, but also the supervisors and department heads came to the photo session and appeared for the first time in the new presentation suits, a Christmas present from the SCBV main sponsor HGV Thomas Holzapfel Immobilien. This had not yet been used due to the break in play and was virtually "unpacked".

SC Baldham-Vaterstetten: So far, three weak test matches

This was followed by the first training session to prepare for the last ten district league games and the newly designed league cup.

The first test matches that have been played since then showed a need for improvement in all parts of the team. The game against the regional division TSV Oberpframmern was lost 3: 4. Against FC Rot-Weiß Oberföhring (also district league), new coach Sebastian Kneißl and his protégés lost out (2: 3). Defeat number three was heavy. The TSV Brunnthal (opponent from the District League South) retained the upper hand with 5: 1.

There are still a few test runs to find the right form of the game: Sunday, 23 August, 1 p.m., at Kirchheimer SC (Landesliga Südost); Wednesday August 26th, 7.30 pm, at home against SV Heimstetten II (district league); Sunday, August 30th, 1 p.m., SpVgg Feldmoching (District League North) and on Friday, September 4, 7 p.m., at FC Unterföhring (Southeast Regional League).

Players and officials of SC Baldham-Vaterstetten hope to be able to play in front of spectators again as soon as possible.
