Ginny Bouchard is considered one of the best tennis players of the last decade, having reached the Wimbledon final in 2014 and placed fifth in the world rankings. The 26-year-old Canadian has become a global star with over 2 million followers on Instagram, but recently there has been a change in her social network account: Bouchard has decided to stop posting a picture of herself in a bikini.

why? Due to the reviews voiced against it by the various surfers. "I try to avoid bikini photos," she told Tennis.com. "It turns out that if you post pictures like that, you're probably not playing tennis or anything like that. It affected me a little bit. Maybe I'm getting a little older and thinking, okay, I'm not going to post pictures of my ass every day."

Bouchard went on to say about life in the age of social media: "I've been through the whole spectrum, of people who love you. When everything's great, people love you. When things go less well, they hate you. I've been through this many times. It sucks. People think social media expresses "Perfect your day, and that's not true. I can run eight hours and then take a selfie from dinner, and people will think I just went to dinner."

The Canadian who has faded in recent years and slipped to 30th place in the world concluded: "I went through this whole process, of wanting to publish something, not wanting to publish, to be afraid, and then to say, 'Let everyone go to hell, I'm going to live my life.' "I do not care anymore. It is exhausting. I do not care about the opinions of people who just want to judge what I do."
