The OM match against Saint-Étienne, which was to open the Ligue 1 season on Friday evening (7 p.m.), had in any case already been postponed. From four cases in the workforce over eight rolling days, the virus is considered to be circulating in the workforce and the match can be postponed by the Professional Football League (LFP).
The names of the affected players were not disclosed by the club. They are in their fortnight. The entire workforce benefits from two days of rest on Saturday and Sunday, since its next match is therefore scheduled for Sunday August 30 in Brest (2nd day).
