The Greek authorities announced that they had arrested Harry Maguire, captain of Manchester United, after a brawl that took place on the Greek island of Mykonos.
According to the British Sun newspaper, Maguire got into a quarrel with two men outside a bar on the Greek island in the early hours of the morning, and the problem worsened after Maguire and a group of his friends refused to enter the police station, which led them to confront the security forces that resulted in his arrest.
For his part, Manchester United announced that Maguire is "now cooperating fully" with the Greek authorities, after news of his arrest.
It is noteworthy that the Manchester players are on vacation after the end of their season, losing in the semi-finals of the European League last Sunday against Seville, Spain.
