The decision to hold the game of Maccabi Netanya against Betar Jerusalem was made today (Saturday) at noon, after the results of the corona tests that the Netanya players underwent were negative. Younes Melda and Karem Jaber, who were diagnosed as positive in the Corona test in the young team, were also diagnosed as negative, but still remained in isolation.
On the pitch the two teams fought to achieve a victory that would buy them third place in the Toto Cup rankings, but mostly would be an indication for them before the league or Europe in the case of the Jerusalemites.
Both teams did not impress too much. In the first half Netanya met the crossbar, in the second half Betar was a bit more dangerous, but when it seemed that this game was going to a draw and maybe a decision from the penalty spot, it was the turn of the substitute, Shalom Edri.
