Paris SG and Bayern Munich returned to the locker room after forty-five minutes 0-0. In a fast-paced final in Lisbon, each team had the opportunity to find the opening on several occasions. Neymar had a great opportunity in the 18th minute of play but Bavarian goalkeeper Manuel Neuer pulled out all the stops against the Brazilian. In the process, Robert Lewandowski found the goal post defended by Keylor Navas (22nd). Then, it is Di Maria for the Parisians who removed his shot too much in front of the German goal (24th). Bayern Munich got another chance in the 31st but the head of the inevitable Lewandowsk was deflected by a reflex Navas save. The Germans were deprived of Jerome Boateng, left with an injury in the 25th minute of play, and replaced by Niklas Süle.
