The Champions League final is one of the most watched sporting events every year, however several thousand unlucky football fans fell victim tonight (Sunday) to an unfortunate deception that caused them to watch another game - without noticing.
It all started when a popular YouTube channel promised to broadcast a free pirate broadcast to every claimant of the game between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain. Tens of thousands around the globe went into the link, but in the moment of truth a surprise awaited them that not everyone was alert enough to notice: another game between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich appeared on screen. The game was played in the 2017/18 season, and the Germans won it 1: 3. By the way, in that game too, Kingsley Coman starred, who also scored Bayern's advantage in the real final held tonight.
