Scheffau (dpa) - With 27 players, Bundesliga promoted Arminia Bielefeld has started the second part of the season preparation. As in the previous year, the East Westphalians moved into their training camp in Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser in Austria.
After a flight from Hanover to Munich in the morning, the journey continued to Tyrol, where the entourage stayed for a week in the five-star hotel "Kaiserlodge".
Only the injured striker Andreas Voglsammer, who is supposed to continue his rehab in Bielefeld, is missing from the training camp. In contrast, the young players Vladislav Cherny and Julius Frommann belonged to the tour group. In the afternoon, trainer Uwe Neuhaus wanted to ask his squad for the first small training session.
Arminia has planned two test matches as part of a tournament in the Kufstein Arena, in which Hamburger SV is also taking part. Feyenoord Rotterdam is Arminia's first opponent on Tuesday (4:00 p.m.), next Saturday (3:00 p.m.) the day before their return trip they will face fellow promoted VfB Stuttgart.
