Ten minutes before kick-off, the atmosphere grew tense when several thousand fans gathered in front of the Auteuil stand. The CRS dispersed the crowd with tear gas and a security perimeter was set up to allow only ticket holders to enter the stadium.

Finally, around 9:15 p.m., the crowd dispersed in the streets around the Park, gathering in clusters of several hundred people in front of the bars and restaurants of the district. Gathered near the Parc des Princes, they lived the rest of the lively first half in a festive atmosphere. Several smoke bombs were even ignited.

But the CRS trucks disembarked again at half-time, forcing the crowd to disperse.

At the same time, the Paris police headquarters announced on Twitter that several bars "which do not meet the health obligations of physical distancing around the Champs-Élysées" had been "evacuated and closed". "Verbalization of all unmasked customers", also announced the prefecture.
