Former Brazilian player Ronaldinho was released on Monday after six months arrested in Paraguay, after the guarantee judge accepted in a preliminary hearing the conditional suspension of the process for which he was charged with the use of false passports. The Brazilian star, who appeared in one of the rooms of the Court of Justice with a black cap and a mask of the same color on his face, will have to donate a sum of $ 90,000 to a medical center in Asunción and to another social project. "repair". On April 8, a judge had granted house arrest to the Brazilian, who followed his process from a hotel in Asunción since April 7. The former Barcelona footballer was arrested, along with his brother, for entering the country with an adulterated Paraguayan passport last March.

Ronaldinho, 40, "has free availability to travel to any country in the world of his choice, but he has to notify us if he is going to change his permanent address" for a period of one year. His brother, Roberto de Assis Moreira, who was also charged in the same case, will pay $ 110,000, also as reparation, and will also have to appear every four months, and for two years, before the Brazilian judicial authorities.

The former soccer player, who celebrated his 40th anniversary in prison, was given false passports by businesswoman Dalia López, who is a fugitive from justice and who received him at the airport. López has been identified by the prosecution as the alleged leader of a network dedicated to "facilitating the preparation and use of identity documents and passports with false content." The case also affects officials from the Identification Department, which issues passports and documents, the Migration Directorate and the Asunción International Airport authority.
