Tweet lodger against PSG: Payet stolen by Di Meco and Courbis

LE SCAN SPORT - The two RMC consultants regretted the mocking message from the Marseille midfielder after the Parisians defeated in the Champions League final.

Dimitri Payet's tweet mocking Paris SG after the French club's defeat in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich did not make everyone laugh in the ranks of OM's faithful. If it amused the web and the vast majority of Olympian supporters who rejoiced at the failure of the great Parisian rival, the message obviously did not please two emblematic figures of the Marseille club.

"You have to be careful because behind you have to take responsibility."

Eric Di Meco

Eric Di Meco, former Marseille side, hero of OM's epic in the Champions League in 1993 and today consultant on  RMC Sport, regretted the attitude of the current Olympian midfielder and let it be known on the radio stations "You have to be careful because behind you have to take responsibility." There are PSG-OM arriving (on September 13 at the Parc des Princes for the Parisian club's first appearance in Ligue 1, note), and these players will be particularly monitored and they have already been. I admit that, me, as a player today, I will not stand, coming out of a final that I lose, to be chambered by a guy that I face three months later. And I would have hoped just for him, that the night we crossed paths, he would have been solid. It's a football that I don't know ”, analyzed the former international with hindsight.

"As much as I find it funny, between supporters, to sleep in, but where active players express themselves like that, I found it inappropriate."

Rolland Courbis

Former player himself (1971-1972) then coach of OM between 1997 and 1999, Rolland Courbis gave an identical speech on the occasion of the Top of the foot program . “I found it inappropriate, I agree with Eric. I was not expecting it at all, I was surprised and to be honest a little disappointed ... As much as I find it funny, between supporters, to sleep, but there that active players express themselves like that, I found that inappropriate. ”

The Reunionese's tweet had provoked the anger of Parisian supporters who had not hesitated, to counter-attack, to bring out an interview with the player granted to L'Equipe in 2011. During this exchange, the 23-year-old Stéphanois then had returned to his standoff with the green leaders to absolutely join… the Paris SG. The Forez club had finally blocked its player and rejected the offer of the capital club (8 million euros).

Parisian players raised against Payet?

Dimitri Payet's teasing humor could have consequences for the next Classic between the two teams in a Parc des Princes which should ring hollow given the spectator gauge set at 5,000 people in stadiums in France. Monday evening, RTL journalist Philippe Sanfourche also revealed that PSG players had been struck by this exit from the Marseillais on social networks: "I had echoes from the Parisian locker room ... Dimitri Payet's tweet gave them a boost to face OM. ”
