Will Andre Geralds return to Maccabi Tel Aviv? According to reports in Portugal, the right-back is not in the coach's plans and most are due to go out on loan once again. "Maccabi Tel Aviv has already approached Sporting regarding Geralds for next season, knowing that there may be a deal," the Portuguese media wrote. "The defender's contract will expire in 2022 and right now, there may even be a transfer deal that will put Sporting in some money."
Geralds, 29, signed with Sporting Lisbon in 2014 but did not play at all in the first team and went out for the loan seasons, including Sporting Chihun. Last summer he was loaned to Maccabi Tel Aviv and became one of the most important players in Vladan Ivic's oiled machine. At the end of the season he returned to Sporting, and at the same time was mentioned as a candidate to join a number of teams in Europe, including Olympiacos and Panathinaikos.
