Al-Majd defeated Al-Waqhah today with two goals without a response at the end of the second round stage of the First Division Football League for the Southern Group.

In the match that was held at the Al-Jalaa Stadium in Damascus, Al-Majd won an important victory over Al-Waqha with two unanswered goals, scored by Raja Rafeh in the 45th minute and Abdel Muti Kyari in the 60th minute.

In a second match, which was held at the governorate stadium in Damascus at the end of the southern group, the governorate and Al-Harjila teams also tied with a goal for each of them, as the governorate scored first through Yassin Abu Karsh in the 65th minute, and Al-Harjla scored a draw after one minute through Ahmed Jawabreh.

Al-Majd ended the stage of going to the top, raising its score to 7 points, followed by Al-Harajla with 5 points, then Al-Muhafaza with two points, then Al-Awakeh with one point.

The northern group go competitions ended with Al-Hurriya leading the ranking with 7 points, followed by Afrin with 6 points, Al-Tadamun with three points, and Hama Police with one point.

The tournament system stipulates that the teams play in the second round in two groups back and forth, and qualify at the end of the first and second of each group to the final stage of the league in which the first-place holder of each group plays with the second-place holder from the other group one game and the two winners qualify for the Premier League .
