The Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office announced today (Wednesday) that it has decided to file an indictment against Bnei Yehuda owner Barak Abramov and six other suspects, for fraud and false registration. The owner of the club is accused of receiving anything by fraud, tax offenses, money laundering and false registration against the background of operating buffets at the Teddy Stadium, the Arena in Jerusalem, the safari in Ramat Gan and the Sami Ofer Stadium. At the same time, the State Attorney's Office stated that no date had yet been set for the hearing.
As you may recall, two years ago, Abramov was arrested on suspicion of money laundering, committing tax offenses and receiving anything fraudulently after he was allegedly involved in a food scam on a safari in the Ramat Gan, at Teddy Stadium and in the Jerusalem Arena.
"In their actions, the suspects conspired to deceive the municipal companies under aggravated circumstances in order to fraudulently win the tenders to operate the buffets at Sami Ofer Stadium, Teddy Stadium, Safari Arena, Safari and the Creative Outdoor Fair.
