In the last week, the football world has been dealing with only one thing - the future of Lionel Messi. According to the ESPN website Manchester City, it is certain that the Flea will reject any offer from another team on the continent in order to sign in its ranks if Barcelona does agree to open an agreement on the sale of the Argentine.

The media across the continent are running many reports. In France it is claimed that PSG also in the picture of Messi and in Italy it is said that Juventus checked with the player's father if he would like to play for the old lady and cooperate with the Nemesis, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Despite all this, City are still considered Messi's most likely target if he reaches an agreement with Barça captains on departure. In the coming days, Flea is scheduled to meet with President Joseph Maria Bartomeu and seek to end his team career nicely. City are aware that completing the deal will be difficult due to the Catalans' reluctance to release Messi without compensation after 20 years in which he starred at the club.

City want to offer Messi a 3-year contract with the option to end his career at the subsidiary, New York City on a two-year contract at MLS. The Blues are willing to pay between 100 and 150 million euros for Messi when Barça say they will not agree to receive less than his release clause of 700 million euros, something that no team will agree to give. City are ready to sacrifice a number of players for a deal with Barça as the names of Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus have emerged as candidates for the trade, with Riyad Mahraz also mentioned on the subject.

The 33-year-old midfielder is due to arrive tomorrow (Sunday) at the Blaugrana training complex to undergo a corona check that all players are required to do before the start of the season in Spain when on Monday the opening training session under new coach Ronald Koeman is scheduled to take place.
