Absolute madness. This is how we can define what is happening this past weekend among Fenerbahce fans following the news that Eran Zehavi is approaching signing in the yellow canaries. To many of the fans it was reminiscent of the arrival of Haim Revivo to the Salta Vigo club in 2000, which led to the championship.

Revivo, despite leaving for Galatasaray which is seen by fans at the Shukro Saragulu Stadium as a betrayal to this day, is still considered one of the greatest stars in the club's history whose pictures are both on the pages of the club's history book and on the cover alongside past stars like Peter and Tony Schumacher and the Fenerbahce Museum. 

The situation in which Revivo came to the club is very similar to the situation in which Zahavi may enter. He arrived after four seasons without a championship - and returned the crown to the diamond on the football crown on the Asian side of Istanbul. And today, the yellow canaries are in a more serious crisis. They have not won a championship since the 2013/14 season, and in the last two years have even failed in their attempt to get a ticket to one of the European establishments.
