Maccabi Tel Aviv will play against Dinamo Brest of Belarus in the third round of the Champions League qualifiers. The lone game will take place in Bloomfield on September 15 or 16. The Israeli champion ousted Latvian Riga in the first round, closed an account with Lithuanian Sudova in the second round and is now a clear favorite to qualify for the next round as well.
If it wins in the next round, Maccabi Tel Aviv will advance to the playoffs, which will already take place in the format of an away game (22/23 September and 29/30 September). If she goes through that stage as well, she will advance to the home stage of the Champions League. The playoff rivals will be Red Bull Salzburg, Olympiacos, Slavia Prague, Dynamo Zagreb or Franzvaros. The playoff draw will take place tomorrow at 13:00 Israel time.

Meet Dynamo Brest
History: Dynamo Brest won the championship for the first time last season and have very little experience in Europe. The current campaign is only its fourth in the mainland factories and the truth is that it is quite successful: the Belarusians ousted the strong Astana in the first round and then defeated P.K. Sarajevo.
Coach: 46-year-old Sergei Kovalchuk is "Mr. Dynamo Brest". He played for the team for eight years until he retired and his entire career after hanging up his shoes took place at the club. As an assistant coach, as a sports manager, as a temporary coach, as a reserve team coach and of course as a head coach. Kovalchuk is always around.
So far, Maccabi Tel Aviv has promised grants of 1.14 million euros. Promotion to the playoffs of the Champions League will guarantee the Israeli champions at least entry into the home stage of the Europa League, which is worth another base grant of 2.92 million euros. A third appearance in the home stage of the Champions League will of course be much more significant and will enrich the club's coffers by 15.5 million euros.
Continuation of the Champions League schedule:
Third round draw: 31 August
Game: 15-16 September
Playoff draw: 1 September
Games: first on 22-23 September, rematch on 29-30 September Home
stage draw: 1 October Home
stage games : October 20 to December 9
