I look forward to my future at Valladolid, a club with a rich tradition that strives to go far. Ronaldo wants to build something big, the ideas excited me and I am excited to make Valladolid our new home. The club and the city, these are places with a family atmosphere, passion Real football - and they fit my wife and me perfectly. That's why I'm already excited to get started!
"Now, I expect to see all my teammates in the Israeli team. We want to succeed from the beginning in the new League of Nations and we have a very good team that can reach high goals. I hope to succeed in the national team and also in the Spanish league starting soon after."

According to the latest reports in Spain, the purchase amount will be 4 million euros (before bonuses) and will make the Weissman deal the most expensive transfer in the history of the club. The striker will sign a long-term contract, with a release clause of about 25-35 million euros.
Valladolid's most expensive acquisition to date has been Serbian striker Dragan Isailovic, for whom he paid € 3.3 million to partisan Belgrade in 1998. Striker Sergei Guardiola was bought two years ago for 3 million euros from Cordoba and this summer stopper Habi Sanchez from Real Madrid also arrived for 3 million euros.
The 24-year-old Weissman arrived last summer from Maccabi Haifa to the Austrian Wolfsberger and burst into a storm with 37 goals in 40 games in all competitions, was crowned king of the Austrian league goals with 30 conquests, thus breaking the Legionnaires' record previously held by Eran Zehavi. Among the teams mentioned as candidates to sign him were Glatsray, St. Etienne, Leganes, Celtic, Leeds, Braga and Lokomotiv Moscow.
Wolfsberger said goodbye to the striker today in an official statement from the club: "Thank you, Sean Weissman, for a great season. We wish you all the best for the rest of your career."
The owner of Valladolid is the legendary former Brazilian footballer Ronaldo, who according to the publication of journalist Guy Blaga last week: "Loves Weissman very much".
Sergio, who is best remembered for his days at Deportivo La Corona and also played for the Spanish national team, continues on the lines. He joined the team in April 2018, before the playoffs in the second division, promoted it to the same league and managed to survive two years. Before Weissman, Valladolid signed five new players, with only one paying: stopper Xabi Sanchez, who was bought for 3 million euros from Real Madrid.
