A new season has opened, but Hapoel Tel Aviv is really not quiet, and not just because of the loss in the opening round to Hapoel Kfar Saba.
The team has built a player salary budget of less than NIS 9 million and almost no dominant Israelis, with Moshe Sinai and Nir Klinger having a hard time adding significant Israeli players to upgrade the team. Omri Ben Harush, not to mention players like Hanan Maman, Dan Einbinder or pioneers like Anthony Varane and Shlomi Azulai, who the professional team cannot join and strengthen the team.
Officials at the club are talking about tensions between the owner and the professional team, with Sinai being heard saying in recent days: "We are a weak team, if we are not strengthened we will be strong down and fight against the decline."
It is possible that tonight there will be a meeting between the owner and Sinai and Klinger in an attempt to find solutions.

The coach is frustrated by the situation and a source at the club said of Klinger: "He built something last year, wanted to upgrade, and now the team has weakened and there is currently no direction to add significant players, it is impossible to constantly find solutions and close holes, this is Hapoel Tel Aviv."
As for Gottlieb, the club still believe the last word has not been said and they may try to resume talks.
A club source said: "We closed everything a long time ago, this is the player who set new terms regarding Peaks salary and regarding a few other things that were not agreed in advance. It is no secret that we have a financial problem and we will not commit to things we can not meet."
Following the procrastination with Gottlieb, Tal Kahila and Omri Ben Harush returned to the picture, but the professional team still insists on the addition of Gottlieb, who previously played for the club.
