After reports circulated in Portugal last week that Andre Geralds may return to Maccabi Tel Aviv and Enrique Saborit instilled hope in the champion's fans with a tweet on Twitter, it is now claimed in Cyprus that the Portuguese defender is a candidate to join Apoel Nicosia, recently signed by his friend Omar Atzili and also playing Ben Shehar.
The 29-year-old Geralds returned to Sporting Lisbon after his successful loan season at Maccabi Tel Aviv, with whom he was a partner in a smooth championship that almost ended without a loss.
