Berlin-SANA
German club Schalke announced a one-year contract with veteran Bosnian striker Vidad Ipsevic.
The club stated on its official website that the 36-year-old had passed a medical examination in Schalke 04 after his recent departure from Hertha Berlin.
"Vidad is a real addition to our team, he is an experienced striker and he is very dangerous in front of goal and is still keen to participate in every game in the Bundesliga," said Josin Schneider, director of football in Schalke.
The inclusion of Ipsevic in a free transfer deal is a great addition to Schalke, who confirmed his efforts to reduce expenses in order to get out of his slump in the wake of two modest seasons on the field and because of the Corona pandemic crisis.
