The Spanish "Marca" opened the morning (Friday) with the tendency of Leo Messi to give up his request to leave Barcelona, and to postpone for a year the departure from the club he had at home.
According to the Spanish newspaper there are a number of reasons that led Messi to change the direction of thinking.
The main reason is because the club has expressed inflexibility in selling the star.
President Josep Maria Bartomeu throughout the meeting with Jorge Messi on Wednesday made it clear that they do not intend to allow any team to acquire the player.
Bartomeu's attitude led Messi to realize that he would not be able to leave in a beautiful and agreed-upon way, but only through the court and open war with the club.
The Argentine is not interested in leaving Barcelona in a bad way.
He has already seen what happened to his friend Neymar in the past, and he does not want to similarly leave where he is from the age of 13.
Therefore according to "Marca", Messi now tends to postpone his departure for at least a year and will probably join the team's training soon.
