"Marca": Javi Martínez before saying goodbye to Bayern

The former Munich record buyer Javi Martínez is said to be about to say goodbye to Bayern.

As the Spanish sports daily "Marca" reports, the defensive player should agree with his former soccer club Athletic Bilbao on a return.

The 32-year-old should therefore receive a permanent contract for two years.

In Munich, he still has a contract until the summer of 2021. Now Bilbao and FC Bayern are supposed to deal with the transfer.

Martínez was Munich's record purchase of 40 million euros in 2012.

The former national player has only been a supplementary player for a long time.

Bosz wants to compensate Havertz departure collectively

Bayer Leverkusen's coach Peter Bosz wants to compensate for the move from young star Kai Havertz (21) to Chelsea as a collective.

"A great player goes away, that's absolutely the case. We have to try to make the team better," said the Dutch head coach at Sky Sport News HD.

He envisions distributing the responsibility across several shoulders in the company club's squad.

Bosz: "We're doing it in several positions so that we can absorb the loss with several players."

In addition to Havertz, whose transfer for 100 million euros to the Blues from London was announced on Friday, Kevin Volland (AS Monaco) has also left Bayer.

The Argentinian Lucas Alario is also willing to change.

1. FC Köln awards Sobiech again

Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln borrow center-back Lasse Sobiech again.

The 29-year-old is moving to the Swiss first division club FC Zurich for one year.

In the second half of the season, Sobiech already played on loan for Royal Mouscron before the season in Belgium ended prematurely due to the corona pandemic.

Sobiech came to Cologne from FC St. Pauli in the summer of 2018.

In the 2018/19 promotion season he made 17 appearances in the second division, and one against Union Berlin in the Bundesliga.

Sobiech has a contract in Cologne until 2022.
