After the Rockets won the first game of the series, the Lakers opened Game 2 to mention who is the team that finished the season with the best balance in the West.
In the first quarter, the team of LeBron James and Anthony Davis ran to 20:36, and kept the lead until the half.
In the third quarter came the team’s comeback from Texas, which wiped out the entire lag from the first half and finished the quarter with a small 2-point lead.
But in Money Time the Lakers woke up to regain the lead in the game and tied the series at 1-1, with 109: 117.
The duo Anthony Davis (34 points and 10 rebounds) and LeBron James (28 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists) led the team from City of Angels, with Marquis Morif adding 16, and Kyle Kozma contributed 13. The losers led. As usual James Harden with 27 points, Eric Gordon (6/12 from three) added 24, PJ Tucker 18 and Robert Covington 17.
Earlier tonight, Milwaukee had to make do without Yannis Antokompo, who was injured early in the second quarter and did not return to play until the end.
The Bucks came 3-0 behind in the series with Miami, having to win to avoid a humiliating relegation in the sweep.
Chris Middleton took charge in the absence of the Greek freak and managed to carry the Bucks to a narrow 115: 118 victory after overtime, which sent the series to a fifth game.
The forward played no less than 48 minutes, scoring 36 points, taking 8 rebounds and delivering 8 assists, including a three-pointer towards the end of overtime.
Despite playing just 11 minutes, Yannis finished with 19 points, Brock Lopez and Eric Baldesso added 14 each.
In Miami Bam Adbaio scored 26 points along with 12 rebounds, 8 assists and as usual a tremendous war.
Duncan Robinson continued to snipe off the arc (6/12) and finished with 20 points, Jay Crowder (6/12 off the arc too) scored 18, Jimmy Butler and Goran Dragic added 17 each.
Tyler Hiro finished with just 11 points, but the Heat's rookie scored 3 big threes in Money Time, which unfortunately were not enough to finish the series.
