Basketball superstar LeBron James has set another record in the NBA in the 112-102 win of the Los Angeles Lakers against the Houston Rockets.

For the 35-year-old it was the 162nd victory in a playoff game.

No other professional was ever more successful in the knockout phase.

He had previously shared first place with Derek Fisher (161).

"I would never have dared to dream of that," said James after the game: "It shows that I have played in many good teams. With many great team-mates and some great coaches."

James excelled on Tuesday (local time), especially in the first half.

In total, he had 36 points, seven rebounds, five assists and four blocks.

The game was evenly balanced for a long time before the Lakers were able to break away in the final section.

In the second duel, the Lakers made the decision in the fourth quarter.

In the Rockets, James Harden played big with 33 points and Russell Westbrook with 30 points.

However, there was not enough support from her teammates.

In the best-of-seven series, the Lakers lead 2-1 in the semifinals of the Western Conference.

Milwaukee has no chance without its top star

The Milwaukee Bucks, however, are eliminated as the best team in the main round.

Without the top star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was injured at the ankle, the Bucks lacked the punch on the offensive.

They had to admit defeat in the fifth game of the series 94: 103 Miami Heat.

Miami moves through the 4-1 success in the final of the Eastern Conference and meets either the Boston Celtics or the champions Toronto Raptors.

Antetokounmpo was twisted in the previous game and had to watch the defeat from the bench.

With 27 points, Khris Middleton was the best thrower of the Bucks, who found no means against the heats over the entire series.

In the regular season, the Milwaukee Bucks had played at a historic level for a long time until Giannis Antetokounmpo was slowed down by a minor knee injury and the season was interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

At the restart in Disney World, Milwaukee presented itself in moderate form, there were only three wins from eight games.

Still, the Bucks ended the season with 56 wins and only 17 losses, the best record in the NBA.
