Lionel Messi arrives for Barcelona training (from Twitter)
Even after announcing his stay at Barcelona, Leo Messi is still bothering Barcelona.
Flea is back in training, meeting with Ronald Koeman and trying to broadcast business as usual, while the team prepares for the season opener.
But both the club's past players and current players are preoccupied with what the upcoming season of the Argentine star, who was forced to stay at the club out of necessity, will look like.
"I think we're about to see one of the best seasons in Messi's career," convinced Victor Valdes, Messi's former Barcelona friend.
"It will be a very good season for him. He comes this season with a lot of desire to prove what a player he is, and that will help Barcelona. He is a crucial player and Barça must not lose him. I hope he will give Barça many happy moments this season."
Despite this, Valdes admits he was a bit surprised by the way Messi and Barcelona clashed in the media.
"I was hurt by some of the things that were said. I suffered. I can not doubt Messi's attitude nor his attitude. I know what he means for Barcelona. It was not easy," he said.

Hoping for a more fruitful collaboration with Messi next season is Antoine Griezmann, who said last night: "My relationship with Messi is just fine, we are getting along very well off the pitch. It's exactly the same process I went through with Killian Ambape - at first we couldn't pass on to each other, and took "I have a long time to know where to find him. As with Ambape, it will also come with Messi. I can't wait to play with him again and enjoy the pitch."
Meanwhile, Barcelona is also busy with procurement matters.
Despite reports last night from fairly credible sources about the deal between Barcelona and Memphis DePay, the club denies and the Catalan media claim that there is one major dilemma around the possible signing - if DePay joins, what will happen to Enso Patti?
"Enso's dilemma," read the headline of "Mundo Deportivo" this morning.
"In Barcelona there is an internal debate over whether to give Patti the keys as a nine - man striker, a role he has shown he is capable of doing well, or bet on Depai," they wrote.

Barcelona are also preparing for the return of Osman Dembele, who is returning to the pitches after a nine-month absence due to another injury.
"It's now or never for Dembele," the Catalan "Sport" insisted.
"Dembele opens a season with the aim of forgetting the injuries and problems from the past."
