Following recent developments in the country due to the corona crisis and government discussions on a general closure during the holidays, the league director has approached the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Sports with a request to exclude team training and basketball games in the Premier League.
"Cessation of training and games during the closure period will cause a chain reaction that means enormous damage," wrote principal Shmuel Frenkel, "The league will have to be postponed, foreign players will be asked to leave and teams will have to start all preparation from scratch."
