The sport bowlers of FC Seeshaupt are starting the 2nd Bundesliga South: A special season for the club - which makes Corona even more special.

Seeshaupt - The SKK Poing II is important for the sport bowlers of FC Seeshaupt in two ways.
On the one hand, the shortest drive there leads to an away match (a good 70 kilometers), on the other hand it is the only opponent that the FC women are at least a little known.
The Seeshaupterinnen had to deal with one or the other Poinger player at individual championships.
Otherwise, all other opponents of the 2nd Bundesliga South are "completely new" for the promoted team, says FC player Manuela Seitz.
The season, which starts on Sunday, September 13th, is an absolutely special one for the Seeshaupter troop - Corona or not.
For the first time ever, a bowling team from Seeshaupt competes in the second highest German division.
“We can't even believe that the time has come,” says Seitz with a smile.
The newcomer exercises calm: “We'll let it come our way.” However, the Bayern League champion doesn't start the season completely inexperienced.
The sea leaders have already looked at the capabilities of the opponents.
When bowling, this is easily possible using the cutting list of the wooden numbers played.
The realization: A midfield position should definitely be possible.
"We definitely have the goal of keeping ourselves in the league," says Seitz.

All clubs in the southern season have segment tracks, i.e. a system that FC Seeshaupt also has in its sports center.
In this regard, the second division newcomer does not have to expect any major surprises.
In the past four seasons, in which the Seeshaupterinnen have always been champions in their respective leagues, they have been almost equally successful at home and away.
During this period, of 70 possible team points, they scored 60 points at their own facility and 59 away from home.
In the squad, "nothing has changed" compared to the 2019/2020 season, which was canceled after 16 match days, says Manuela Seitz.
With an away cut of 525 wood (8 games) she was in the top third of the individual ranking in the Bayernliga Süd.
Beside her belong Sabrina Waitz (543.63 wood / 8 games), Carola Waitz (536.63 / 8), Petra Kräh (531.29 / 7), Petra Heinfling (530.25 / 8), Nadine Wieser (528, 88/8) and U-23 players Andrea Seitz and Nicola Dreer to the first set.
The fact that there was no access does not throw the club into despair.
Because cohesion fits within the team - and according to Manuela Seitz that is important: “Bowling is a team sport.” Those involved know that defeats can also be expected.
Some of the opponents have players with international experience in their ranks.

Tina Dworski is new to the Baden-Württemberg team, who was sixth in the second division south / middle last season.
She won silver at the World Cup in 2013 with the German U-18 national team and won the German individual title in her age group in 2014 and 2015.
The best SKC players last season were Franziska Zentler (away average 558.40 wood / 7 games) and Nicole Binder (550.80 / 6 games);
both were in the top ten within the league.
The season will also be special due to the regulations due to the corona pandemic.
According to the currently valid concepts, no spectators are allowed in the games.
In Bavaria, however, that could change from September 19, because from then on, up to 200 visitors will be admitted to indoor sports competitions, similar to the cultural scene.
In addition to the six players, up to four substitutes and two supervisors are currently allowed, according to Manuela Seitz.
In order to prevent aerosols from spreading in the air, cheering by shouting is prohibited during the game; only clapping is permitted.
The mandatory sports greeting before the game is also omitted.
Manuela Seitz is curious to see how the teams get along in a sterile atmosphere.
After all, it is not least the loud support from fans that "is what defines our sport".

The DKBC (Deutscher Kegler-Bund Classic) has not issued a general action and hygiene concept, as the national leagues are spread across Germany.
“Every municipality, every club or owner of the sports facility has hygiene concepts regulated by the health authorities, which must be taken care of by the teams themselves and sent to the visiting teams.
A recurring check is essential, ”writes the association.
After all: after the first loosening, training was possible. At first only two players were allowed on the track at the same time, after that they were allowed to train on four tracks. The longer break in the spring did not leave the FC women completely unaffected, reported Manuela Seitz. Some usually continue to train even after the season has ended, so the lockdown has already been “noticed”. Overall, however, the following applies: “We are already in a good mood.” Even if they are now playing in the second division, the FC women rely on tried and tested patterns in their preparation. “We didn't train any differently than in previous years,” says Manuela Seitz. In view of the list of successes - four ascents in a row - there was also no reason. All other teams from the district play in purely Bavarian leagues. The start in the Free State has been postponed. The aim is to start on 10/11. October.
