Kirchheimer SC: First test match failure at league rivals

Kirchheim conceded a 1: 4 swatter against TuS Holzkirchen.

Holzkirchen / Kirchheim - The national league footballers of Kirchheimer SC caught it in the fifth test match: The 1: 4 (0: 2) defeat at the league competitor TuS Holzkirchen and the lack of stability on the defensive made player-coach Steven Toy ponder.

The diagnosis of the injury to central defender Ricardo Jacobi also offered no cause for celebration.

After just twelve minutes, Kirchheimer SC was down 2-0 after goals from Anton Bauer (5th) and Andreas Maurer (12th).

KSC captain Eugen Martin scored the next goal with a beautiful long-range shot (60th), before Christopher Korokor (76th) and substitute Julian Allgeier (87th) made the final score.

With the first 20 minutes of his team, Toy did not agree at all, "we were really bad there", then he experienced ups and downs: phases of pressure with scoring chances were repeatedly followed by negligence on the defensive.

With the "cheap goals conceded" the defense revealed coordination problems with long balls behind the lines.

Regular goalkeeper Markus Magdolen took a break, Ivan Babic and Filip Pavlovic each played a half despite their training deficit, Denis Zabolotnyi took on central defender Ricardo Jacobi.

The diagnosis after Jacobi's knee injury in the test at FC Finsing (2: 1) does not bode well: the inner and outer meniscus and Baker's cyst - a fluid-filled protuberance in the hollow of the knee - are torn, and bone marrow edema is also evident.

How long the 32-year-old is absent depends on which treatment the doctors prefer.

Toy: "Rici will be out for a while, and that's a bitter pill." On Tuesday (7.30 pm) the Kirchheimer SC will be a guest at the district league club SV Dornach.
