Due to the circumstances, Maccabi Tel Aviv was forced to hold its pre-season preparations in Israel this season.
Tonight (Monday) the team of Yannis Sapropoulos held its first training game in which it defeated Hapoel Holon 74:77 (34:37).
New acquisition Andrea Žižić excelled with a double-double of 20 points, 12 rebounds and an index of 30. Othello Hunter scored 16 points, Scotty Wilbkin and Angelo Caluiaro assisted with 10 points each.

The Yellows' second and final preparation game will be on Friday, the eve of the holiday against Hapoel Haifa.
