Meir Russo, director of the Israeli Film Archive at the Jerusalem Cinematheque, says: "One of the oldest films we found is a record of the Maccabiah Games from 1932. Tel Aviv at the center of things

One of the things that stands out in the sports coverage of the news diaries since then, which devoted their time to sports coverage, is the focus on sports activities that take place in the center, and most of the time only in the center.
