Cologne - Hoffenheim 1: 1 (Half 1)

Mons Dabour and his teammates locked up last season in a great way and achieved sixth place and the automatic ticket to the home stage of the Europa League.

Dabour himself also closed out last season in very good shape and scored four goals.

Hoffenheim, who needed a penalty shootout to advance to the first round of the Cup, are hosted in Cologne with a new coach on the lines - Sebastian Hans (Oli's nephew and Dieter's son) - and the goal is of course to start with a win.

Hoffenheim added Miat Gachinovic from Eintracht Frankfurt this summer and said goodbye to Steven Zuber, who did the opposite.

Dabour started in the lineup.

Minute 4: Goal!

A serious mistake in the defense of Cologne, and precisely of the national team player Jonas Hector, who returned a bad ball to his goalkeeper.

Andrei Krameric took the ball, slipped it between Timo Horn's legs and gave Hoffenheim a quick 0-1.

Minute 17: Kramaric could have completed a double after Dennis Geiger's wonderful preparation work, but was stopped by Horn.

18th minute: Another big miss for Hoffenheim, this time defender Pavel Kadjabek was stopped by Horn and received complaints from Dabour who was alone in front of the goal and did not receive a delivery.

Minute 22: Goal!

Hoffenheim missed and was punished.

Jan Thielman's left-hander found the head of Swedish acquisition Sebastian Anderson, who, like last season in the Union Berlin uniform, slammed in elegantly.

Cologne equalized to 1: 1.

Werder Bremen - Hertha Berlin 0: 0 (Half 1)

The team from the capital is without a doubt one of the most intriguing in the Bundesliga this season.

Hertha Berlin has a very impressive staff, which was joined this summer by the excellent John Cordoba from FC.

Cologne, Freiburg goalkeeper Alexander Shbolov, defender Kroneningen Daubasio Zafouik and of course Luca Tuzar Million.

Herta opens the season against Werder Bremen, who survived last season just in the closing minutes of relegation in the Test matches and hopes not to get entangled again in these grueling underground struggles.

Borussia Dortmund - Borussia Mönchengladbach (Saturday, 19:30, Sport4)

Two of the teams that represented Germany in the Champions League this season meet head to head for an intriguing game in the opening round.

Borussia Dortmund acquired Jude Blingham this summer, who has already won the trophy and became the youngest scorer in the club's history, and added Thomas Monier on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain and Reneer Mariel on loan.

On the other hand, she lost Ashraf Hakimi.

Gladbach added Valentino to Zaro on loan from Inter and Hans Wolf on loan from Leipzig with Raphael and Steve Johnson leaving her.

Dortmund will have to make do without the injured Rafael Greiro and Gio Reina while the visitors will be missing Dennis Zakaria, Salo Bens and Lazaro.

About 10,000 spectators will be allowed to enter the game.
