Sensation eight days before the kick-off of Roland-Garros.
The Spaniard Rafael Nadal, the favorite, was eliminated on Saturday in the quarterfinals of the Masters 1000 in Rome.
His executioner is called Diego Schwartzman.
The Argentinian (seeded N.8) created the feat in two dry innings (6-2, 7-5).
He had never won against the legend of Mallorca in nine confrontations.

Nadal, who had given up tournaments in the United States (Cincinatti and US Open), returned to competition on Italian clay, after more than six months of forced break due to the coronavirus pandemic.
So here he is eliminated from a tournament which he won nine times and of which he was the title holder.
The Spaniard was aiming for a tenth title there before, perhaps, snagging a 20th grand slam victory to join Roger Federer, absent until 2021 due to double right knee surgery.
