London - Sana
Substitute Eddie Nikitiah scored near the end as Arsenal beat West Ham United 2-1 yesterday in the Premier League.
Alexandre Lacazette took the lead with his 50th goal for Arsenal, while Mikhail Antonio equalized for West Ham before the end of the first half.
But Arsenal took the lead after 25 minutes, as Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, who had already extended his contract for three years, sent the ball to Lacazette to place it with a header past goalkeeper Okash Fabiansky.
West Ham leveled before the break after a superb team work and Thomas Sochik ran the ball from midfield and passed to Ryan Fredericks who put him in Antonio's way to score easily from close range.
Antonio came close to adding the second goal after the break but Arsenal keeper Bernd Leno narrowly saved the chance.
Nikitiah grabbed the three points for Arsenal in the 85th minute after receiving a ground pass from Danny Ceballos and less than ten minutes after playing instead of Lacazette.
