World number one Novak Djokovic has qualified for the 1,000-point final of the Rome Tennis Masters Championship.
Sky Sports reported today that Djokovic booked the first card to the final of the tournament after beating Norway's Casper Rudd in the semi-final in two groups without a response, 7-5, 6-3, to stay a step away from winning his fifth title on Italian soil in two hours and 11 minutes.
The Serbian player will meet in the final with the winner of the semi-final match between Canadian Denis Shapovalov and Argentine Diego Schwartzman.
