Maccabi Tel Aviv training before Salzburg (Maccabi Tel Aviv official website)

Maccabi Tel Aviv has invited 19 players to the squad for tomorrow's game (Tuesday, 22:00, Sport 5) against Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League qualifiers.

The players were told to report to Kiryat Shalom at 10:30 a.m., when the first thing they would do would be to perform another corona test, after the two they had done in the last 24 hours.

After the test, the players will travel to a hotel, where they will stay until the exit to Bloomfield Stadium in the evening.

If the tests conducted by the players this morning turn out to be negative, coach Georgios Donis will be able to raise the squad he practiced in the concluding training session: Daniel Tennenbaum between the posts, a line of five defensive players that will include the three brakes Eitan Tibi, Sharan Yeni and Matan Balteksa and defenders Ben Bitton and Ofir Davidshida Eden Kartzev and in front of him Ruslan Bersky and Eyal Golsa, and in the front Dan Bitton and Itai Schechter.

Donis also tried to play with a line of four defensive players in concluding training, when he took out Balteksa and practiced one of the three at a time - Tal Ben Haim, Elon Almog and Eduardo Guerrero - but chances are the three will wait on the bench.
