After years of cold war between the eV led by President Robert Reisinger and KGaA majority shareholder Hasan Ismaik, the signs in 1860 point to relaxation.
Reisinger and Ismaik want to talk
First, two weeks ago, Abu Dhabi approved the budget increase, and now Reisinger and Ismaik even want to talk.
"When Ismaik's next visit to Munich we will meet, a meeting has already been agreed," said Reisinger yesterday at the digital general meeting, in which the presidium informed about the developments in 1860 from a studio in the Euro Industriepark.
Ismaik's changed communication style ensures a better relationship
Around 400 members had dialed in.
The fact that the relationship with the investor has relaxed is explained by Reisinger with Ismaik's changed communication style.
There are no more “highly emotional social media postings” and important debates are now being conducted internally.
According to Reisinger, allegations against eV representatives are unfounded: "We have never left the factual level."
TSV 1860 Munich: A new triple gym and a new office are planned from 2022
According to information from our newspaper, the meeting is planned for October.
It will take a little longer for the next project.
Lions have been talking about building their own gym for decades.
Now the plans are actually becoming concrete.
Reisinger presented the key data of the project yesterday.
At Grünwalder Strasse 114, where the parking spaces for employees and fans are currently still located, a triple gymnasium and a new office for the eV (with a parking deck for 126 cars) should be built from 2022 at the earliest.
The long-planned club museum and a new Löwenstüberl are also included in the plans of the Munich architects Gerhard Günther.
The funding from the eV is secured, said Reisinger.
“We are in the phase of inquiring about the subsidies for the gym.” The next step: the preliminary decision from the Munich building department.
