The confrontation between two of the most talked about athletes in the United States today - LeBron James and Colby Covington, is branching out.
On the night between Saturday and Sunday, American MMA fighter Colby Covington defeated Tyrone Woodley in the main event of the UFC, and took another step on the road to the championship battle.
Immediately after the battle, Covington, who is considered a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump, spoke with him and won much praise from him.
Immediately afterwards he turned a sting towards the Los Angeles Lakers star, who did not remain obligated.

"I want to thank the police and military forces that are guarding us," Covington said after the victory.
"Without them, the world would not be safe. We need them, not like all these athletes like the cowardly LeBron James. He lacks a backbone and I'm tired of them already."
Covington, who supports Trump's party, has repeatedly spoken out against the Black Lives Matter movement and now also spoke out against LeBron.
"The BLM movement is one big joke," the fighter said.
"It's made up of terrorists and criminals. It's not the average, hardworking American who works hard to survive, but bad people. Criminals who attack cops. They rave and break the rules, they threaten cops with guns, so don't be surprised after they get what they get. "If it weren't for the police, the United States would be like the Wild West."
"I don't really care what other people think," LeBron responded.
"Any fighter can talk to the media and say what he wants, but in the vast majority of cases, when that fighter enters the arena, he just does in pants."
King James' reaction garnered tens of thousands of responses, some calling for him to enter the arena along with Covington.
