Three teams and their head coaches from the US football league NFL have been fined more than one million dollars for violating the corona guidelines.
That reported the NFL Network.
Accordingly, the Denver Broncos, the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks are said to have each been fined $ 250,000 (about 212,000 euros).
In addition, Broncos head coach Vic Fangio and his counterparts Kyle Shanahan from the 49ers and Pete Carroll from the Seahawks were each fined $ 100,000.
The three coaches had violated the mask requirement during their games last weekend.
Further penalties could follow: Also on Monday, Sean Payton (New Orleans Saints) and Jon Gruden (Las Vegas Raiders) may have two other head coaches violating the conditions.
