The Tishreen football tournament kicked off in its twentieth edition today at the Lattakia stadiums, with the participation of eight teams distributed into two groups, including the first: Tishreen, Al-Ittihad, Jablah, and Banias Refinery, and the second, Al-Wehdah, Al-Karama, Al-Sahel and Al-Tadamon.
Jableh defeated Al-Ittihad with a goal without a response, scored by Ali Suleiman in the 88th minute in the opening match that brought them together at Al-Baath Stadium in Jableh.
Tishreen will meet the Banias refinery later today on the Al-Basil stadium.
The second group competitions will open tomorrow, with Al Karama meeting Al Sahel and Al Wahda with Al Tadamon.
