Miami rejoices over the rookie who exploded with 37 points (17 in the 4th quarter) in the important win over Boston • Wade: "We all know it's not one game he was hot, that's how he plays" • Jimmy Butler: "He has tremendous confidence, pressure Does not affect him "

Although he has a binding name, at the age of 20 in his rookie season, no one expected that Tyler Hiro would be the winning hero in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals series, the one that gave Miami a 1-3 lead with his own hands after a 109-112 win over Boston.

Well, that's exactly what Hiro did in the morning with 37 points in 36 minutes including 17 points in the final quarter.

A superstar performance, but just a year ago he still threw threes in Kentucky.

So how big and historic is Tyler Hiro's appearance?

He's the youngest player in history to score more than 30 points from the bench in a playoff game, and even broke the club record for rookie points in a playoff game in which Dwayne Wade held with 27. "It was great as long as it lasted," DeWade joked, complimenting the young guard. "What I like so much about Hiro is that we all know it's not a game he was hot. That's how he plays basketball."

"I'm just betting on myself," Hiro explained, "I've been doing this my whole life. I moved from a small town near Milwaukee to Kentucky and no one thought I would survive there, and no one thought I would survive in the NBA but at the end of the day I "All in all, I bet on my ability. On myself and it succeeds. That's who I am, that's how I grew up and that's how I intend to continue playing."

Hiro was selected 13th in the last draft (2019) by the Miami Heat, could have easily reached Boston as the Celtics picked 14th in the draft, and the order of choice of those two was determined by tossing a coin, as they both finished in the same balance last season.

Miami won big, of course, while Boston received almost no consideration from Romeo Langford (selected after Hiro).

"Few people get such an opportunity to go that far in the playoffs and play, and be significant," said Hiro's mentor Jimmy Butler, "but for Tyler, it's another day in the office. He makes us all smile, and we're all happy he's with us because of his abilities. "And his confidence on the field. He does it all season, so for him there is no pressure or anything like that. He just plays the way he knows how."
