European champions Bayern Munich meet European League champions Sevilla in the European Super Cup in Budapest, Hungary.
The two teams have competed in the European Super Cup together nine times, but have only won twice (one win per team, Sevilla in 2006 and Bayern in 2013).
Bayern Munich earned their place in the European Super Cup after becoming the first team ever to win the Champions League after winning all their games on the way to the Cup.
The Bavarians presented a sweeping and enjoyable football and scored an average of 3.91 goals per game and beat Tottenham away 2: 7 away and 2: 8 Barcelona in the quarterfinals.
The Enzy Flick team also opened the Bundesliga this season with a huge display that ended 0: 8 against Schalke last Friday.
Bayern Munich come into the game with a crazy run of 22 consecutive victories, while Sevilla with a streak of 21 games without a loss.
The Andalusians have been rested and have yet to open the league.
Jolan Luftaghi's team won the Europa League after 2: 3 against Inter in the final held in Germany and feels confident ahead of the game when Ivan Rakitić is expected to make his debut again.
Bayern Munich will miss Kingsley Coman, who is in solitary confinement after being exposed to carry a Corona.
Alfonso Davis, who did not play against Schalke and was in doubt for this game as well, is waiting on the bench.
Lucas Hernandez was developed as a left-back at Bayern and Nicklas Zola brake.
In Sevilla Ivan Rakitić makes a new debut.
