Internal documents indicate that Robert Lewandowski may have backdated a contract on his advertising rights. Was that way taxes in the millions were evaded?

Last Friday seemed like a normal working day for Robert Lewandowski.

FC Bayern Munich finished off FC Schalke 8-0 at the start of the Bundesliga season, the center forward scored one goal and prepared two more goals.

After the game, there wasn't much to be seen of the exhilaration that the professional footballer exuded on the pitch.

Lewandowski had pulled a red mask over his mouth and nose when he left the Allianz Arena, his mobile phone on his ear.

The striker limped slightly.

He disappeared from the catacombs of the stadium without comment.

Just a few hours earlier, SPIEGEL had reported that Lewandowski's former advisor Cezary Kucharski had sued the player's marketing company in a court in Warsaw for damages of around nine million euros.

Accordingly, Lewandowski is said to have illegally diverted millions of euros from his company RL Management with the help of his wife Anna, in which his advertising income has been flowing since 2014 and in which Kucharski held a stake.

Lewandowski denies the allegations.
