Football superstar Lionel Messi has sharply criticized the management of FC Barcelona.
In an Instagram post, he said goodbye to his former teammate Luis Suárez, who had switched to Atlético Madrid during the week.
"You should have deserved to be passed for who you are: one of the most important players in club history," wrote Messi, adding: "And not to be kicked out like they did. The truth is me at this point nothing more surprises ".
The 33-year-old Suarez was suggested to move after signing coach Ronald Koeman.
Although he had a current contract until 2021, Barcelona let him move to the Spanish capital for a comparatively low transfer fee of five million euros.

In a club release, Barça wrote: "FC Barcelona would like to thank Luis Suárez publicly for his commitment and commitment and wish him all the best for the future".
Suárez is considered to be one of the culprits for the botched last season in which Barcelona gambled away the championship and went down in the semi-finals of the Champions League against Bayern Munich.
After moving from Liverpool to Barcelona in 2014, Suárez formed one of the best storm trios in the world with Messi and Neymar.
"MSN", as it was called, led Barcelona to 2015 Champions League victory.
Suárez scored 198 goals in 283 appearances, plus 109 assists.
The Uruguayan has a close friendship with Messi. In his communication, Messi wrote: "How difficult it will be not to spend everyday life with you".
It is not the first time that the superstar has attacked the club leadership in public.
Messi announced his departure from Barcelona at the end of August, but the club would not let him go.
The 33-year-old then accepted his whereabouts and justified the decision by saying that he would never go to court against Barca.
However, he accused the President, Josep Maria Bartomeu, of breaking his word.
Messi's contract expires in 2021, as does Bartomeus' mandate.
